You know before computers and the multiple ways to make money online; we were able to place little ads in newspapers and make money. I am sure those that are a little older remember Don Lapre, it was the equivalent of what we all see when we scroll through our Instagram or Facebook pages – money-making ideas. I remember doing this, which took actual work, and I made a little money here and there. Well anyway, I was cleaning my attic and came across a few articles on different things that people could get for a nominal cost – remember this was before the internet craze. I happen to have them and wanted to share a few. Just so you know I have rights to these articles, so in case someone is wondering. Now, I am pretty sure they might be outdated, but the concept is still there. Now, please I am throwing out a disclaimer, these are in no way indicating that I am a doctor, or financial expert, or anything that may be mentioned in these articles I am simply sharing some cool information I had back in the days, that made me some money in a very different way which involved mailing. I did not post them all, because I wasn’t sure how to, but when I do I will post them. This post and the article also tell you how our society has evolved when it comes to looking for a passive income business – we have come a long way. I always wondered what my life would have been like if I would have seriously continued on these opportunities. I mean where could I have been if I would have stuck with this and maybe brought my ideas to the internet – makes me wonder. I hope you enjoy the articles; they are pretty old; I believe I got them from the early ’90s. Please don’t take them to heart, but like everything you see on the internet take what you need to make it work.
So, I was looking into WordPress of course and they offer an eCommerce business site as well, you know you can add plug-ins and so forth. The thing is I came across a website or company called Dropship Me, they offer something about adding 50,000 hot products to your eCommerce site through a plugin which they mention WordPress, and bam you have products to sell that supposedly will get you sales – this company does all the leg work for you. So, as you can see the options are abundant out there, I think it is a matter of finding the right one that works for “you”. As I was mentioning before, I thought about the Alidropship offer and maybe planning out the ability to add other products. You see I as you can imagine I have been seen a lot of ads on e-commerce opportunities since my search for a business. I came across another that allows you to add merchandise like Marvel, or DC to your already existing drop shipping business, which means more products to cover the different needs and wants of the consumer.
Ok, I think I got off track here, the real reason for my post was to share with you the business ideas or articles from back in the 90’s – yah people mailed me money for these articles and I would send them and they would tell their friends – yah it worked. I mean think about before the internet and the ability to look for information, people did not have many options, and locating things to help them was done through newspaper ads and mail – we have come a long way. If I recall the one on the “Where Diets Go Wrong” article was a big hit.
