Podcast Time – Coming Soon

I finally got a new mic to create podcasts, well I just got a better mic that is all. Now, I did a few episodes using the automated voice, and yes, I know it is not the same and it sounds like a robot. But I did one trial run before that and what I did was not particularly good. It doesn’t mean that it will sound any better with this new mic, but you know what, it is what it is.

So, my plan is to of course create posts for my blog, and then I want to follow them up by creating a podcast of my post, but not necessarily reading what I just wrote, but instead talking about the post, and sharing my enthusiasm through my voice. I tend to get loud, so my first podcast may be a little unnatural, and well, the truth is I am going to make my podcast unedited and unscripted, well sort of unscripted, since I won’t be reading my post but talking about what my thoughts are on the subject – breath. I am planning on keeping them to 10 minutes, you know I don’t want to bore anyone – haha – just kidding.

Temporary logo, still working out the kinks.

Now, I will be going back to my first post and start from there, maybe not the very first post. It will be interesting since it has been a while for some of those post, so it will be very cool to remember what I wrote and how I felt at the time. I think it will bring back memories and maybe a new perspective on the subject. Eventually, I will catch up on my post and the goal will be to post and then create a podcast – we’ll see. The goal for this weekend is for me to create a few podcasts from older posts and hopefully, they won’t be too bad, but at least I feel that you’ll get a kick out of my enthusiasm – I hope. I wanted to make this post a short one, just to give you a heads up on what might be coming down the line. In the meantime thanks for stopping by and please come back this Saturday the 23rd – hopefully I won’t chicken out – to hear my first podcast. By the way the podcast I am creating through Anchor, but I will link the podcast to the article, after the fact, I know it is weird, but it gives you a chance to come back, catch up and listen to me. I will see about have a separate section or column to showcase my podcasts. The ones you see there are voice automated, so bear with me. As always, I do try, I would like to leave you with a thought, “Small steps are ok, nothing wrong with moving ahead or trying something new slowly, the objective is to keep moving forward.”

Strange but true, I was born in San Salvador, as an abroad US citizen. It sounds strange, but you see, my mother was 5 months pregnant and happen to be visiting San Salvador. She slipped and fell in a pool and well, I was born. I am a twin, but unfortunately, he did not make and I did. My mother’s side of the family happens to be well of, and I had the opportunity to live a nice life early in my childhood. You know, private school, servant, nice home, and vacations. Things change when my mother decided to follow my father to the United States and well, that is where my story begins. I started a blog a while back, but life sort of hit and I left it behind, but now as I am a bit older, I decided I needed an avenue to share my experiences with others, while at the same time allowing me to open up and talk like I am on someone’s couch, I guess you could say. This blog will be more like an open book, created by experiences that I have had throughout my life. Experiences that many could relate to and what I did or how I handled it, you know after the fact. You never know there just might be a piece of information, idea, an option that someone could use and it would help them through the experience. Just remember these are my experiences, things I have been through, work through, and lived through – it does not mean I am right, but it does not mean I am wrong – it is simply an experience.
